Bryn Afon Guest House is located in the most central yet uniquely spectacular position in Betws y Coed.

Bryn Afon Guest House provides 4* quality accommodation in an elegant Victorian house built of traditional Welsh stone. Located on the banks of the Afon (River) Llugwy overlooking the 16th Century Pont y Pair Bridge, where salmon leap the waterfalls, the house is tastefully furnished and all guest bedrooms are fitted with the following modern facilities: en suite/private facilities; colour TV; beverage tray, hairdryer and free wireless (wi fi) internet connection. All guest bedrooms have dual aspect windows that accentuate the beautiful views. The front garden to the house, including tables and chairs, is set aside for guest use only and overlooks The Pont y Pair Bridge/Afon Llugwy. Private car parking is provided.

Your hosts, Julie and Phil, ensure a warm welcome on arrival coupled with a high standard of service in a relaxed and informal atmosphere throughout your stay. Room charges include provision of a hearty Welsh traditional cooked breakfast using locally sourced quality produce i.e. sausages, bacon and eggs, complimented with a selection of fruit juices, cereals, toast, fresh fruit, and local yogurts. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking The Pont y Pair Bridge/Afon Llugwy. Special dietary needs, in the main, can be catered for following prior discussion with Julie and Phil.

Bryn Afon Guest House is literally a minute’s walk from the most favoured eateries and shops in Betws y Coed, the gateway to the inland tourist destination of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The majestic mountains of Snowdon, Moel Siabod, Y Garn and Tryfan etc are close by. The Marin Mountain Bike Trail is literally on Bryn Afon’s doorstep. Julie and Phil, both general outdoor/keep fit enthusiasts whose main interests include: hill walking, running, cycling and diving can provide advice on local walks etc.

North Wales is blessed with many fine examples of sites of antiquity including castles, stunning country houses and gardens plus beautiful lakes and water falls. Additionally there are many picturesque golf courses that include: Betws y Coed, Vale of Llangollen and the spectacular cliff top course at Nefyn. Betws-y-Coed is within the heart of the tourist destination of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. It is close to the magnificent Snowdon, Y Garn, Tryfan etc, castles, slate museums, stunning gardens, beautiful lakes and water falls. It is a paradise for lovers of the outdoors

Reservations are for a minimum of 2 nights from 1st March - 31st October (High season with the exception of bank holiday weekends).

1 night reservations are accepted during the low season (1st November - end February).

1 night reservations may be possible during the high season on an ad hoc basis however due to the popularity of the Guest House we get booked up extremely quickly therefore there is very limited availability for 1 night stays.

2011 Rooms are from £60 - £85 per room per night to include breakfast
