A Country Garden House
Self-catering, luxury holiday accommodation
SPECIAL OFFERS: Sorry, all special offers now sold out. Watch this space...
The Country Garden House - Tyn y Gerddi - which accommodates two to four people in comfort, is the single storey, south wing of our home.
We are located about half-way between
Betws-y-Coed and Capel Garmon, on the hillside overlooking Snowdonia to the west.
This is a peaceful, rural situation, yet very well placed if you want to explore Snowdonia and the coastal haunts of North Wales. We especially hope you will enjoy relaxing in our beautiful, rambling garden which is lovingly tended by Wendy. Beyond the garden is a few thousand acres of woodland, and the open mountainside which will appeal to our more energetic guests.

The Country Garden House has recently been refurbished. It is surrounded on three sides by luxuriant gardens; from every room there is a beautiful outlook from the picture windows and, from the Lounge, a splendid view of the Carneddau range of mountains of Snowdonia.
The Country Garden House is self-contained, south, west and east facing and comprises, all on one level:
the Dining Room and fully fitted Kitchen.
a Twin-Bedded Room, with
..
a full-sized, En-suite Bathroom.
a separate Shower Room with toilet.
the Lounge, in which there are comfortable sofas and a super, very comfortable, Whiskaway double wall-bed.

THE LOUNGE AND EXTRA BEDROOM
In the Lounge there is: a comfortable, soft leather suite in which to relax and take in the wonderful view, a 7-drawer pine chest of drawers, Kenwood Hi Fi, pine coffee table and two fitted wardrobes.
The lounge doubles as a bedroom; behind the oak cupboard doors there is a very comfortable Whiskaway (Murphy) De-luxe Wall Bed which has an 8-inch pocket-sprung mattress. With the bed fully made up, you can effortlessly lower it into place or tuck it away by finger tip action, in about two seconds.
Just sitting up in bed and watching the sun set over Snowdonia is a really pleasant way to end the day.
The patio doors open directly onto the terrace that overlooks the valley and the panoramic view of Snowdonia.

FACILITIES and SERVICES
The accommodation has been designed with comfort and facilities in mind for everyone, including ambulant- disabled or elderly folk. Everything is all on one level, the doorways are all wide and there is plenty of room in the fully appointed, en-suite bathroom.
In addition to the large, en-suite bathroom there is full-sized shower room and toilet with separate access; theres always plenty of hot water.
Heating and Services
All windows and doors are double glazed and there is full, oil-fired central heating. The bedroom, lounge and dining room are carpeted, the bathrooms and kitchen have vinyl flooring. Everything you would hope for in self catering accommodation is provided.
The lounge French doors open directly to the Garden, Patio and Terrace.
Relax and unwind; in secluded corners about the garden and at various viewpoints there are many benches and garden chairs; on the terrace there is a barbeque and reclining loungers.
