"...by far, the best B&B in which my father and I stayed during our 2 week road trip around the UK. ...wonderful living room with a big tv and plenty of space to spread out and read on the couches. ...the best part of staying at Winifred's Rest was the hostess...went the extra mile to make sure that we were comfortable... This place really is a hidden gem."

This is a wonderful place to stay. Gwen and her family were extremely welcoming. Then I was told about a lovely walk down to the river. Had a great time and would highly recommend this B & B. Have doen so already to my family members....

I've felt very welcome...went the extra mile quite a few times for me. They gave me tips for walks and places to eat...even gave me a ride when there was no immediate bus and offered tea and a snack for the tired walker. The rooms are...comfy, tidy and quiet. Breakfast and evening meal were made and served with great care. Great choice. If you're looking for a pearl in Snowdonia, here it is.
