Grove House B&B

Stay

Grove House is centrally located within the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. It offers quality Bed and Breakfast and a genuinely warm welcome to those who come to experience this uniquely special part of Wales.

Grove House is a few minutes walk from the centre of the village, with its shops, pubs and restaurants and serves as an ideal base for a wide range of outdoor activities and attractions. These include hill walking, mountain biking, rock climbing, high-ropes courses, horse riding, golf and scuba diving. There is plenty to see and do locally, visiting castles, stately homes and gardens, riding on ‘Great Little Trains’, or exploring the coast and its white-sand beaches. Alternatively, visitors can do absolutely nothing in special surroundings and immerse themselves in this wonderful part of the world.

Emma was born in Capel Curig, less than five miles from Grove House, and grew up in this magical place. After travelling and living abroad she returned to her roots and her home reflects some of her travels. She is now happy to share her local knowledge with those who choose to stay.

Emma will be pleased to help you explore and make the most of this awesome part of Wales. In addition she will help you close each day with a choice of great places to eat, drink and chill out!

Grove House offers two double en-suite rooms with flat screen colour T.V., free wifi, hairdryer, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, fresh milk and biscuits. Breakfast ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible, with award winning meats from a local butcher, free range eggs, the finest Welsh yoghurts, conserves, preserves, marmalade and honey, amazing fresh bread from an award winning local bakery and fresh fruit, juices and a choice of teas and fresh coffee.

If you need anything else (such as an iron, an umbrella, some waterproofs or a map) then we will always try to provide you with what you need to enjoy your stay here to the full.

The world is full of extraordinary places… Snowdonia is, most certainly, one of them!

Perhaps, the comments of some who have stayed at Grove House might paint a better picture. It was a mutual pleasure…they will know who they are…and it is hoped that our paths cross again:

“Thanks for sharing your home, your thoughts, your advice, and your waterproofs!”

“Thank you for allowing me to spend my few days off in your home with your family and food. Advice on walks and places of interest were greatly received and duely abused to the pleasure of my senses…”

“Thanks for a lovely stay. We now know how to pronounce Betws-y-Coed and think it is quite the loveliest place in Wales.”

“We have felt so at home here…Breakfast yummy, bed cosy, Marin Trail awesome!”

“A friendly atmosphere and a great place to unwind…”

“Splendid spot! Splendid food! Great and honorable hosts! Loved the mountains and the valleys. Welsh streams, vistas and crags. Ahh… the air… Deus horam dat!”
